About Katelyn
Hi, I'm Katelyn!
I approach therapy as a place where you can be seen and heard in all phases of your life. I specialize in supporting women experiencing anxiety and stress often as a result of trauma, relational wounds, and overwhelming circumstances in life.
I am a wife, mother of two young boys, and a lover of animals. As a California transplant, I enjoy all things outside, especially in the Bay Area. In my free time you’ll find me doing Pilates, hiking, horse back riding, running, gardening, going to church, & spending time with friends and family. I am passionate about all things wellness and finding ways to thrive: mind, body, and soul.
Why I love therapy
At a young age, I read a book about the powerful work that therapy did to restore people’s lives. This changed the course of my life. I was inspired by the healing work therapy provided for those recovering from trauma, anxiety, and relationship issues. I decided to pursue psychology to be a therapist so that I could walk alongside women who have experienced difficulties in their lives that prevent them from flourishing. Both personally and professionally, I've witnessed how therapy can transform people's journeys and move them toward healthy and full lives. I'm truly passionate about this work, and I am honored to support every person I spend time with.
I work collaboratively with you to identify and plan your goals that will help you progress toward living a life that reflects your values. I focus on giving my clients tools to utilize each week so that they can work towards their goals. These tools you use to regulate yourself and cope better, leading you toward peace, strength, and confidence.

Philosophy
I believe that our bodies are not separate from our souls. Healing begins with the recognition that each element of our lives is interconnected, and we cannot address one without addressing the others. From a holistic standpoint, I will help guide you in identifying the unhelpful behavioral/relational patterns in your life and move towards understanding where they come from, how to cope with them, and change them into healthy patterns.
